The story of Ricardo (or Ricky) begins in the spring of the early 90s on the coastlines of the Mediterranean. He writes in third person because he has always preferred the story of others. Looking for them around Europe, South Korea or Azerbaijan, he found himself living and writing in Cape Town, South Africa.
The young Ricky published his first ─and last, so far─ novel when he was eight. Behind that project there were not and editorial, but the pressure of a teacher who couldn’t understand his homework. The calligraphy books were defeated by an illustrated book where knights and dragons were the main characters.
The words continued flowing unofficially until he decided to study Journalism. The reason: keep writing. Chronicles of football and basketball tournaments, London 2012 Olympic Games and the Tour of Spain that same year. They were followed by an award-winning short story, several published poems and articles for different media. His path continued with SEO, Social Media, Graphic Design and Digital Content.
And he flew.
Three months in Macedonia. Another three in South Korea. One in Azerbaijan. Along the way were Lithuania, France, Serbia and Portugal, among others, to reach South Africa. Cape Town, more specifically.
From here, Ricardo continues filling notebooks with new destinations and seeks to share stories (in third person) with anyone who wants to read them. You can read him regularly in Rhino Africa, Vivito y Coreano and B The Travel Brand.
